I had the chance to play at the West Side Cafe in Frederick MD, on Monday, and I was pleasantly surprised by this independently owned, finely run, music venue and cafe. The audience was kind, and the promoter and organizer for the evening, Steve Key, was wonderful to work with. I hope to play there again in the future, with a Brakemen in tow. If you are swinging through Frederick, stop by and support this testament to independently-run excellence. Their cinamon rolls were good too.
